The Great British Empire
After Brexit, the UK is trying every means to show their power in military technology and economy. It is upgrading to a level that no investor should neglect. As said last week, when their application in the CPTPP is successful, they will speak louder in trading when the US is absent.
Their Carrier Strike Group HMS Queen Elizabeth has a seven-month journey to Asia, the longest journey beyond the US Strike Groups. In July, they announced they will send two Frigates HMS Tamar and HMS Spey, forever deploying in the Far East to keep freedom of navigation. Yesterday, the HMS Richmond submarine hunter sailed through Taiwan Strait to Vietnam and aroused strong objection from China. Taiwan Strait is an international channel, but China considers warship sailing through is a challenge to them and in support of Taiwan. A few centuries ago, Great Britain was known as Master of Seas, but after World War II replaced by the US, and now the UK wants to revitalize.
